HOLLA!!

I just got the official news from the doctor-the lymph nodes in my chest do not contain any cancerous cells!! To quote the doctor, "the lymph nodes in my chest are just nodes." Therefore, it looks like my treatment will go on as planned with my mastectomy scheduled for February 20th. The best news is that hopefully I will not have to go through radiation and therefore, wait an extra year to get a new set of ta-tas :)

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT news!!!!!! I'm still so sorry you have to part with the other set of "twins," but I'm glad to hear you won't have to wait so long for new ones. In the meantime ... you should burn your bras and let the sisters fly free!!!! Fondle, flash, shimmy, whatever you like ;)

Fantabulous! Have you thought of doing a plaster cast of the boobies before February 20? I have a friend who did that and was very glad to have them around on sad days. We love you and are very happy to hear the good news!

YAY!! So good to hear!
I second the plaster cast idea. I have a friend who threw a plaster cast party when she was preggers, and let me tell you, nothin says fun like getting your closest friends together, covering yourself in vaseline, and dumpin a bunch of plaster of paris over your torso... ; )

Yahh!! I am so happy for you!! I have never heard of the plaster thingy, but it sounds cool. I would like to put on vaseline and plaster some day, although I definetly wouldn't have as much to plaster as you! Congratulations and may the new ta tahs sit high and proud! LOL

Dear Lindsay,
Terrific node news! Bra burning, boob freedom, plaster casting? Go for it! We are thinking about you and will be on Feb. 20th. You have a whole community of cheerleaders who are rooting you on: your family: their friends, colleagues and families; your friends: their friends, colleagues and families; your colleagues: their friends and families. Doesn't that sound like a community or more?

Wishing you the best!
