Bugger!

Not good news from the pet scan...it appears that the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes in my chest. Again, I am scheduled for more tests on Friday and will hopefully get confirmation next Monday as to whether the "abnormalities" in my chest is cancer. If it is cancer, then it looks like I will be getting chemotherapy before the mastectomy. (Yah! I get to keep my boobies a little longer!)

Bugger, indeed. Here is a link for an online support site for young women (under the age of 40) who are fighting breast cancer ...

Bugger and all of my other favorite expletives! Please know that we're thinking of you, Lindsay, and we'll do our best to support your Mom so she can support you. Hang in there. My Mom and my younger sister have survived this rotten business and I have confidence that you will, too. Fondly, Becky & Kurt (Gig Harbor)

Well, this really sucks! We all await the news today and are sending positive thoughts your way. Remember, I'm another Mom who loves you, so add me to the list of friends/family who will take care of you. I'm very good at providing whatever support you might need. I can cry and laugh with you. I can listen and HEAR you. I can allow you to be angry. I am well-practiced at massaging feet and necks. I can feed animals, cook, and clean your house. Or I can simply BE there. I have a zillion airline miles and can be there in a day; I have no obligations to anyone, so am free to fly to LA and help. Please don't hesitate to call on me. You are a beautiful, special woman, with or without boobs.
Love, Marilyn
